Impact the Future!

Carter-Lawrence Elementary School has been awarded a grant from the U.S. Departmentclem logo ofEducation Office of Civil Rights to transform our neighborhood school into THE place children in Nashville learn to become engineers who will make the world a better place.

We have lots of work to do. With purpose, excitement and enthusiasm we are focusing on improvement and growth in five areas:

  • Diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Innovative curriculum and professional development
  • Academic excellence
  • Leadership
  • Family and community partnerships

Ways to make a difference include:

  • Become a thought partner
  •  Support curriculum and/or professional development
  • Spark imaginations as a guest speaker
  • Host field trips
  • Volunteer in person - tutoring or becoming a lunch buddy
  • Donate to our school or Family Resource Center
